Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely. The real safeguard of democracy, therefore, is education.

A students collaborative work: EU stars banner

Click on the image to enlarge.

This banner in the colours of the European Union was created as a collaborative task by students of the EU-Topia+ project from Portugal, Italy, Estonia and Germany. On the stars the students express what the European Union means to them and why it is important to support the European Union, especially in times of rising anti-European and anti-democratic tendencies in our societies. The stars of the Portuguese and the German teams were presented by the German students to the Fulda public at a Pulse of Europe gathering on 30th April 2017
